including the NYPD, FDNY, and EMS, and coordinate emergency response throughout the entire city. The proposed facility will consist of a single office building and accessory parking. PSAC II will strengthen the City’s ability to maintain communication in the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack.
Crescent is currently implementing NYC Minority Business Enterprise program. Daily responsibilities for the Project Manager include but are not limited to; liaison role between project team and M/WBE and Bronx Based firms, assist project team with preparation of MBE bidders list, monitor contractor compliance with all DDC requirements, develop monthly progress reports to project team and DDC, identify areas of concern and recommend options to the Project Team. On May 22, 2012 Crescent along with DDC, Tishman Construction, NYC Mayor’s Office of Operations, NYC Small Business Services, local unions and local organizations sponsored an Employment and Contracting Information Session for Bronx businesses and residents.
To date, $23.8 million in contracts have been committed to Bronx-based firms and $27.9 million to MBEs. These awards will continue to grow as the job progresses.
