MWBE Program Management
Crescent is administering Silverstein Properties’ Diversity Program for Minority and Women Contractors and Workforce Diversity on the World Trade Center Towers. The project is comprised of three towers ranging in size and complexity. By 2014, Tower 4 at the World Trade Center Site will mark a major milestone in the redevelopment of downtown New York. Crescent is working the Construction Managers, Tishman Construction and Turner Construction as well as the Trade Contractors to ensure this project achieves the goals set forth by Silverstein Properties. At this juncture, the project has achieved 40% compliance on the M/WBE Contracting requirement and 38% compliance for Minority and Female Workforce participation.
Market & Network Development
Crescent Consulting designed and managed the “Meet the Primes” outreach and networking events. The workshops were broken into two sessions, one for the MEP Trades and the other for Finished Trades. These were highly successful events in which we created an opportunity for over 225 Potential Prime Bidders to meet over 150 M’WBE Contractors and network and discuss business relationships. The event was facilitated by our extensive relationships with both the Prime Contractors and M’WBE Contractors. We also were able to report a detail analysis of the impact and success of the events for the M’WBE Contracting Community.
